de-puff 101
Nothing beats this combo when it comes to depuffing, reducing redness, shrinking pores and feeling your best.
In my skincare routine, the Skinny Confidential Ice Roller is essential! After exfoliating and applying products, I use the ice roller on my face, neck, and décolleté. This enhances product absorption and provides a refreshing, rejuvenating experience.
The ice roller also pairs perfectly with a sheet mask, soothing the skin and reducing inflammation (yes, please). Plus, for those undergoing Botox or fillers, the ice roller helps reduce inflammation and bruising, though it should be used gently to avoid affecting Botox results.
TSC Ice Queen Face Oil is a dream & I love to apply pre-gua sha routine, it helps the tool sliiiide while nourshing your skin.
Almost all experts say that oil should always be applied last, layering your products from thinnest to thickest on your face. If you use oil first, all your serums and potions won’t properly absorb into the skin. NOTE: If you’re using oil on your face during the day, you want to apply SPF over it.
So it’s cleanse, ice roll, add products, face oil, then…………….
GUA SHA
After applying face oil its Gua Sha time! I love this stainless steel tool from de la heart. Gua sha does wonders for de-puffing the face.
“Facial gua sha is a massage technique designed to relieve tension in the muscles of the face, boost blood circulation and encourage lymphatic drainage to banish bloat. It helps break up fascia — the connective tissue that hugs muscles but can sometimes interfere with optimal circulation — and can even help to make your face look slimmer (albeit temporarily). Devotees swear by its ability to ward off headaches and jaw pain and brighten skin (due to the boost in circulation). Some even consider it a Botox alternative for its ability to unkink settled-in muscle folds.” – source
Once more from the top! Cleanse, ice roll, products, face oil, gua sha, SPF!
